These rooms are used by visitors for meetings and workshops, as well as internally for lab meetings and other scientific events.
  • Cafeteria. The Danforth Center offers its scientists and staff a place to grab a bite to eat or a cup of coffee during the day. With a grill and a salad bar, the cafeteria not only prepares lunches to eat in or take out, but the full-service kitchen is equipped to handle catering needs for private and official functions, such as luncheons and dinners, receptions, conferences, and other small or large group meetings.
  • Social Commons. Adjacent to the cafeteria, the Center’s lower atrium is a social hub of the Danforth Center, where daily tea-time gatherings are a popular activity. Featuring a striking waterfall fountain and the Center’s international flag gallery, generous seating is available for those who need a change of scenery during the day or a place to eat lunch. It’s also the tea-time gathering place for Center scientists and staff.
